What is the controller trainee program about?
It´s a programme providing the wide spectra from business and financial control within Ifs Business Areas to Corporate Control which offers a more holistic view.

What will a controller trainee do?
A controller trainee will work with both financial controlling and business controlling and there are more aspects combining the two areas than there are dividing them. You could say that the business controller is closer to the business and the financial controller is following the financial performance and the monthly reporting.

The trianees will perform analyses and gather insights to understand value creation, market trends, competitor environment and market position. You will develop efficient processes for planning, and will follow-up on monthly financial performance. They will also support selected strategic initiatives and business development projects. As people and culture is key they will contribute to a desirable working culture, best practices and knowledge sharing within the Controlling areas and for If as a whole.

Why are we starting up a program like this and why is it important for If to offer a trainee program within this area?
