If you get sick or have an injury, your costs related to treatment and surgery are covered. You will also receive a personal medical advisor who will follow you both before, during and after your surgery or treatment.

Physical treatment

If and Vertical Health wishes to ensure that our customers receive the best medical treatment at any time. We have learned that many acute musculoskeletal disorders can be treated with short-term physical treatment. In this agreement we cover unlimited consultations (NOK 250,- per hour) without referral.

The insurance covers physical treatment when it is medically necessary to permanently improve functional capacity, illness or injury. It is Vertikal Health together with the treatment provider that approves the type of treatment and the number of treatments to be covered. The treatment must take place within Vertikal Health's network of therapists. The agreed number of hours applies within a 9-month period from the first day of treatment. 3 months must pass from the last treatment covered by the insurance before new treatments for the same condition can be claimed to be covered.

Who is insured

All permanent employees and
Temporary employees with a contract duration of at least 3 months will automatically be enrolled
Early retirement pensioners with agreements established prior to 1 January 2019
Employees on sick leave and partly disabled are covered with the exception of treatment for the diagnosis that has caused the sick leave or disability
