Business Area Baltics and Russia

If has operations in all three of the Baltic countries. Since 1 July 2009 the three subsidiaries are operating under one company, If P&C Insurance AS. The company has its domicile in Estonia and branches in Latvia and Lithuania.

In Estonia, If is the market leader with 33 percent market share. In Lithuania, the market share is 10 percent and in Latvia 8 percent.

The number of customers in the Baltic countries is approximately 310,000 and includes both private individuals and companies.

Russia is included in the business area as of 2007.
