Which sicknesses are covered by the Assignment Insurance?
The insurance covers medical expenses arising from sickness during a journey. Sickness during a journey refers to sickness which has occurred during the assignment and which requires immediate medical treatment.
If the insurance card is not accepted
What do I do if a physician or a hospital does not accept my insurance card?
Pay for the expenses yourself and file a claim afterwards on our websites. If the case involves expensive treatment, ask the physician to send us a medical certificate, a treatment proposal and a cost estimate. Only after having received these can we give a written payment guarantee.
Insurance during the holiday
Will visits to a physician also be paid during my holiday?
This insurance is also in force during holidays and leisure-time journeys if the assignment contract and the Assignment Insurance are in force.

Which expenses are indemnified
Which expenses are indemnified from health care insurance?
Health care insurance covers, among other things, annual check-ups e.g. an eye specialist or gynaecologist, dental care with certain restrictions, vaccinations, and visits to a maternity or child health clinic.
Treatments and examinations carried out for cosmetic reasons, infertility treatments, contraceptives, medicines, vitamins, travel and other such expenses are not indemnified from health care insurance.
New eye glasses
Does the insurance indemnify new eye glasses?
Eye glasses are indemnified, with certain restrictions, when the eyesight has changed. Attach a certificate of the change in eyesight, such as an optician's statement, to the claim.
Dental care
Is dental care indemnified from health care insurance?
Dental care is indemnified with certain restrictions. Please contact us for further information.
