Accident or sickness
Instructions in case of accident or sickness
- Visit the nearest physician and pay the medical and other expenses yourself if the service provider will not bill us directly.
- Claim for indemnity from us.
- In most cases, you will have to buy medicine yourself from a pharmacy. Claim for indemnity from us.
Payment quarantee
Instructions regarding payment quarantee in case of loss
- Fax, or ask the physician to fax, a medical certificate, treatment proposal and cost estimate for the handling of the payment guarantee if the case involves expensive treatments or hospitalisation.
Curtailment of journey / repatriation
Instructions regarding a curtailment of the journey or repatriation
- Contact us or SOS International (Tel. +45 38 48 89 77, Fax +45 70 10 50 56) if the physician is of the opinion that you need special transportation.
Death
Instructions in the event of death
- Report the death to the nearest representation of your home country. In Finland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will handle the practical arrangements related to the repatriation of the deceased.
Baggage damage
Instructions in case of baggage damage
- Report the case to the police and ask for a copy of the report for yourself if you fall victim to a crime.
- Report any goods lost during transport to the carrier.
- Keep the purchase receipts if you have to buy necessities.

Liability or legal expenses
Instructions regarding liability or legal expenses loss
- Contact us immediately after loss or damage. Any agreement you may have made on the indemnification of the loss or damage is not binding to the Insurance company.
